This is a challenge unique to Florida high school nurses only.... NASN is piloting Stats4Vax: Improving teen vaccination rates one school nurse at a time to help improve teen vaccination rates—which are dismally low for some vaccines!

Materials to help high school nurses promote vaccination are available on the NASN website. The challenge is for YOU to improve vaccination rates over the course of a year (one winner gets an all-expense paid trip to the NASN 2018 conference!!). Please complete the entry form before October 31, 2016 in order to be eligible. You will need to be able to report the number of students in your high school who have received: HPV, FLU, TDAP, and/or Menactra at time of your submission and then again at the end of the challenge (June 15, 2017).

The focus of this Challenge is to "uncover" and improve the vaccine uptake of those vaccines recommended for adolescents – these are the ones tracked by CDC. We hope you take this challenge for the health of your students and school community. Good Luck! Email any questions to Stats4Vax@NASN.org.
