FASN and NASN - A Unified Membership Structure

The Florida Association of School Nurses (FASN) has agreed that members of the organization must belong to both FASN and the National Association of School Nurses, Inc. (NASN).  Membership dues are collected and managed at NASN national headquarters.

All of the membership benefits offered to members by NASN are extended to FASN members.

What can you do with your FASN/NASN membership?

A school nursing position can be overwhelming at first and it can be difficult to see beyond all the health records that need to be reviewed. There are, however, so many things that school nurses can do to help students be ready to learn.

By joining FASN, school nurses can connect with other nurses and ask questions at meetings or on the FASN member discussion list. There is a wealth of knowledge in the school nursing community; professionals who understand and speak the same language!

FASN and NASN collaborate with national policy-makers, organizations and agencies to support child health needs and school nursing issues, and support school nursing research.

Members enjoy special member registration rates at FASN and NASN conferences.
