SUMMER 2008 PRESIDENT'S LETTER
Greetings!
As we enter the summer months, I hope you will take time for relaxation and restoration. There is a reason why things are less focused and formal in the summer. Even those who work year-round find things less intense in the summer. Healing laughter comes more easily, learning seems fun.
During the summer, many of us also ponder and plan for the next school year: how can our family lives run more smoothly, how can we better serve our students, how can we work smarter with less? The Florida Association of School Nurses is also looking at their vision, Serving School Nurses Statewide. How can we strengthen this vision so that our mission, to advance school nursing practice, reaches more nurses throughout the state? One thing we are certain of, we are committed to serving school nurses throughout the state of Florida!
